the business ambassador for this Central Texas
area. By promoting tourism and responding to
hundreds of information requests a year, the
Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce fosters interest
in the area that translates into increased
revenues for local merchants and businesses. The
Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce is recognized as
the one-stop information source for visitors,
potential residents and businesses interested in

the economic well-being and the quality of life

active. Listed below are a few opportunities to become active.
- The
"Communication Line" of the Chamber of Commerce. The committee
oversees all ribbon cutting ceremonies for Chamber members.
- Star Volunteer Program - This
program will allow volunteers to staff the office and answer phones,
assist tourists, visitors, and new residents with brochures, maps, lists,
of community services and business. Volunteer a morning, an afternoon, or
stay the day.
